A hidden reason
The reason you are still looking for love has to do with various factors, obvious and not so obvious. Examples abound of people who have no problem meeting suitable people but who ruin the opportunities through their lack of inner stability. Single people are often led to think that looking for love means answering personal ads, going to singles parties, or joining dating services. These may have their uses, but the most important aspects of our preparation for love are internal, and more often than not, neglected. Finding ‘the one’ is often a consequence of having changed several things in your inner-self that were getting in the way and blurring your judgement whenever you met someone interesting. When a person learns not to downplay his odds, not to overemphasize something negative about himself, his way forward is clear. The expectation that everything will be perfect, that nothing will go wrong, that you will get along wonderfully from the start, and that you will just be happy, causes many to suffer tremendously when nothing goes right with ‘the one’ they thought was for them.
