Heart to heart

I've been living with my in laws for three years now and they keep on interfering with my life. At times, I don't feel like I'm in control because whatever I say needs to meet their approval to be implemented. I'm fed up with this situation. What should I do?

To be honest with you, the solution is to have your own house. The bottom line is, that you are not in control because it is not your place; you've been married for three years now and it is time for you to have your own place. When this happens, the opportunity will arise for your spouse to be moulded to make the relationship work and external influences will not be as prevalent as they have been to date. I don't know what your financial situation may be at the moment but this is where you need to focus your attention now.

If you want more information on the P4L meetings you can email us or call the 24 hour helpline on 020 7686 6000.

I'm in love with a woman at work but she doesn't know how I feel. Every time I think of speaking to her, I am filled with fear because I am afraid that she will compare me to the other guys in the office who are so much more interesting.

I have been seeing someone for 4 months now and I really want to pop the question. The only problem is that she has been hurt in the past and I am scared that she may reject my proposal...

When do you know that you've found the right person?

I've been living with my wife's parents for three years now and they keep on interfering with my life. At times, I don't feel like I'm in control because whatever I say needs to meet their approval to be implemented...

I’ve been dating this guy for about 9 months and I’m starting to fall for him but he doesn’t feel the same...
I don’t feel like I will ever find the right person so I have decided that it’s better not to bother with love life. What do you think?
I have been single for the past 2 years with no intention of finding a life partner, but lately I have had this overbearing feeling of loneliness. I don’t know what is wrong with me.
