Policy statement of working with
other organisations

The UCKG is committed to working together with other organisations, Churches and faith groups for the benefit of the community.

Although there are differences in beliefs and activities between different denominations and organisations, we believe there are instances where it is both possible and beneficial to work alongside one another for the benefit of the community.

The UCKG collaborates with other organisations by:

•  Attending conferences where community action ideas are discussed such as:

- Faithworks conferences
- Churches Together meetings

•  Taking part in activities that will benefit the work of other organisations such as:

- blood donation sessions
- blood pressure testing
- organising clothing and book collections for Barnardos and Crisis
- working with job centres
- environmental community activities

In working with other groups, it should be noted that the UCKG will never compromise its beliefs nor engage in any activity that goes against the basic teachings of the Bible.
