UCKG members do it for Peckham

You gotta have faith’ was more than just a slogan on a t-shirt for the runners representing the UCKG at the Doitforcharity.com 5K run.

For these 135 runners, the lack of experience wasn’t a hinderance - Knowing that every pound they raised would go towards refurbishing the Peckham HelpCentre was incentive enough for them to cross the finish line.

From the 800 or so runners who participated representing their respective charities, Helder Tavares Junior of Plaistow VYG came first making the UCKG the winners of the 5k run. Jonathan Glenn (Peckham) came third.
