Israel, the Holy land is a place like no other - it’s where some of the most amazing events in the history of Christianity took place. It’s where Jesus walked on water, it’s where He performed miracles, it’s where He died and promised to return…While it is one thing to read the Bible and try to imagine the places where these great miracles and events took place; it’s a totally different thing to actually stand in that very spot.
Imagine heading to Jerusalem via the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross), then visiting Jesus’ Tomb and the Garden Tomb. Imagine taking part in the Lord’s Supper just before climbing Mount Moriah and visit the Wailing Wall. Imagine walking through the Garden of Gethsemane, then the Valley of Jehoshaphat to end the journey with a visit to Mount Zion, King David’s tomb and the Upper Room, where the last supper took place...
Actually, don’t imagine it - prepare for it because in November, you will have the opportunity to do just that. From the 2nd to the 9th November, the UCKG will go on a Pilgrimage to Israel. Amongst many other biblical spots, we will visit: Caesarea Maritina, Mount Carmel, Tiberias, Jordan River, Capernaum Ruins, Gideon’s Spring and Mount of the Beatitudes.
