To Sinai and back

The 15th June was the beginning of a great change for all those taking part in the Campaign of Israel. Well aware that the moment they placed their envelope on the altar was the official start of their Campaign, these people boldly presented not only their sacrifice but also their entire life to the God of Sinai.

Bishop Julio along with the other bishops and pastors from UCKGs around the world took their requests to Egypt, where they climbed the rocky terrain of Mount Sinai. There they presented the people’s requests and cried out on their behalf, before making a bonfire and burning the requests.

While the bishops and pastors prayed on the mountain of God, people across the globe joined them in spirit of prayer and cried out to God, confident that their sacrifice had called His attention and caused Him to tend to their biggest dream or problem.

The preparation was done. The request was made. The sacrifice was presented and now it was time for answers. It came during the Night of the Answer where all those who took part in the Campaign gathered together at the Rainbow Theatre for a prayer vigil, when they would hear the revelation that God had for them.

Bishop Julio, started the meeting with a prayer, determining that instead of people having to deal with the same problems over and over again, they will give testimony of God’s blessing upon the different areas of their life over and over again.

He then went on to lay hands on everyone present, determining that they receive the answer to their request. As the meeting came to a close with a final prayer, the people left the Rainbow Theatre with the assurance that the God of Sinai had answered them and determined that they would take the action and do what otherwise seemed impossible.
