Explosion of faith at the National Area in Jamaica

A whopping 25,000 people attended the UCKGs Good Friday event in Kingston Jamaica’s National Arena. Those who weren't there heard about the event as it was splashed across the front page of a national newspaper seen below.

The UCKG first opened its doors on the island in 1996 and there are now 21 churches across the island, with an attendance of around 10,000.

“Over the years the work of God in Jamaica has grown tremendously through various mediums such as evangelisation, TV and radio programmess, and newspaper adverts,” said Bishop Claudio who is responsible for the work there. We have an average of 70 new members weekly.

“One of the biggest problems people come to us with is financial. Following that is family problems: separation and broken homes.”
