Breakfast with Liberty Radio
So, to add a little flavour to the thought of healthy eating, Liberty Radio’s ‘The Breakfast Show’ has decided on Healthy Eating Week. The goal of the week will be to highlight the importance of fruit and vegetables in our diet and the show’s host, Richard Anderson, has promised to go vegetarian for seven days to stress it’s importance. “Coronary heart disease is a preventable disease that clams more than 110,000 people in England every year,” said Richard. “A few lifestyle risk factors include, a poor diet and lack of exercise. During this week The Liberty Breakfast Show will be promoting a healthy lifestyle which could change the way you eat forever!” Healthy Eating Week will start on Monday April 7 and throughout that week various celebrities and healthy eating campaigners will join Richard on Liberty Radio, to promote a healthy eating lifestyle. Fruit and vegetables are a quick and convenient way of providing the body with essential vitamins and minerals. They are high in fibre, rich in A, C and Bgroup vitamins and are almost fat free. The Breakfast Show airs every week day morning and brings to you lively chat, live phone-ins as well as all the latest news, weather, traffic and travel headlines. The Breakfast Show has teamed up with some top companies to give listeners free gifts, including Transform, Britain’s number one cosmetic surgery. Tope from South London was the lucky listener who won a free (light) face-lift. The reputable Pineapple Performing Arts School also gave away tickets for West End performances as well as a two week all expenses paid visit to the performing arts centre, the birth place of some of the UK’s much loved actors who have gone on to appear in programmes such as Holby City and Strictly Come Dancing. The health icon line up for Healthy Eating Week includes: Prizes up for grabs include an i-pod shuffle and a signed Leona Lewis CD. Tune into Liberty Radio Sky Channel 0186 for The Breakfast Show every week day from 7am to 10am.
