“I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have
hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have
revealed them to babes.”
(Matthew 11.25)
The world as we know it is constituted upon good ideas. Since creation when the Earth was empty and formless, God thought, ‘I can make it better!’ All that exists, from the simplest to the most complex creature or environment, is a product of God’s ideas. Creativity is one of the best gifts God could have given to the human race.
From the invention of the wheel, by the primitive men and throughout history we’ve seen how good ideas have revolutionised the world in science, technology, engineering, business, art, and so on. All the powerful corporations are ready to finance the most promising and innovative ideas, those who are set to be the next best thing since sliced bread.
An idea is an inspiration you have. It can come as a result of your own experience and creativity, or it can be inspired by God, which we can also call a revelation.
God is willing to reveal to His people the good ideas that can improve their day to day life, marriage and relationships, the work of their hands and everything else they do. But He is also willing to supply them with great ideas that can once again revolutionise the world.
"But He is also willing to supply them with great
ideas
that can once again revolutionise the world."
Imagine how it could advance God’s kingdom if it was you, not Bill Gates, who had created Microsoft? You can still do something remarkable with your life if only you apply yourself to it.
But of course, a good idea is not all that it takes. Someone once said that the best ideas often come as a joke. You have to believe in them and work hard to make them reality because there will certainly be a lot of obstacles along the way. And that is the exact problem for many believers and non-believers alike. Who is ready to step out of their comfort zone to make something great happen? Very few people indeed!
God is looking for people who are not afraid of challenges so that He can reveal great things to them. Whether you’ve already had your revelation or are still brainstorming, know that you should not be intimidated when the world doesn’t believe in you. Just remember that He who created the whole universe in perfect harmony tells you that, “All things are possible for those who believe.”
