366 'Do not fears'

Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul
has no pleasure in him.
(Hebrews 10.38)

Have you noticed the group of new people in the church who are being greatly blessed and are growing in their faith? What is it that makes them speed past those who have been in the church for years?

Believe it or not, but it’s their faith that makes the difference!

Yes, they are new in the church. Yes, they have a lot of mistakes. And yes, they only know small parts of God’s Word. But the difference is that they are ready to use what they have. They take God’s Word as it is and they run with it, using their supernatural faith.

Meanwhile others spend more time listening to their doubts, which neutralises their faith and consequently doesn’t allow their life to improve.

Only through faith can we achieve God’s promises and become who He wants us to be. This power of faith is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit; not only is it the only bridge that connects us to God, but it is the only tool for eternal salvation as well. That’s why it’s impossible to please God without faith.

My just shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2.4)

I grew up in a very religious family, but I was not living - I was dead. My suffering was a reflection of my spiritual life that was dead. Life comes as a result of a person depending on his own faith - not on the Bishop’s faith or on your neighbour’s faith. Not even on God’s faith. Your life is a reflection of your faith.

Faith is what gives you the right to achieve everything that God promised. So even if you’ve only known God for two days but are willing to use your faith in Him, then you are also entitled to His promises.

That’s why you see people coming to church and achieving greater blessings than those who have been attending for years.

Does God make exception of people? No. God calls everyone and we all stand between faith and doubt. But I choose myself and you choose yourself. You decide if you will claim your rights or not.

God says, ‘I am with you’, ‘Don’t be afraid’, ‘I am strong’, ‘I will not leave you or forsake you’. Did you know that in the Bible God tells us not to fear 366 times?

So why isn’t your life growing? It’s because you are more inclined to doubts than to faith; you are giving doubts more attention than you give to your faith.

Doubts have no limits, they consume their victim like quicksand, but through faith there is both physical and spiritual healing.

Don’t feed your doubt, feed your faith. We must persevere until our last breath so that we can achieve all that God has promised for this life and in eternal life.
