Positive Attitudes

An intelligent faith is not only evident through positive thoughts, meditation or good intentions; it is also seen in a positive attitude! This is what wisdom taught us when she hewed out her seven pillars and built her own house.

All the men and women of God in the past had to have an attitude. For example, Moses’ and Joshua’s attitude showed that they were God’s partners when they took off their shoes: “Then He said: do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” (Exodus 3.5) God also said to Moses: “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.” (Exodus 14.15)
This also happened to Joshua: “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” (Joshua 1.3)

The lack of an attitude of faith has impeded many Christians from taking possession of the financial promises made by God, because they keep on waiting for “divine intervention”. They don’t know or, they don’t want to understand that every action has a reaction. What is the point of wanting a high salary if we don’t work for it? Or wanting to reap what we haven’t sown? There is a word that describes the type of attitude that pleases God: FAITH. However, faith requires an attitude of trust and is a voluntary action.

This is what offering is all about. Offering is not just a synonym for money. Money represents the trust that the giver has in the receiver. The simple fact of exchanging money for a service or an item means that the customer trusts in the quality of the service or the purchased item. The money deposited in a bank shows the trust of the customer in that bank.

It is the same with God. When we give an offering, we are trusting that God will fulfil His promises and answer with His blessings, therefore, the action of giving an offering shows faith and trust in the Word of God.

Those who have faith to give also have faith to receive because they materialised their trust in God and their attitude of faith makes the difference. Only through positive and renewed attitudes can you experience positive results concerning new jobs, a new initiative, a new relationship or whatever new project you want to embark on.

If you have the same old attitudes and choose the same old ways, then you will achieve the very same old results and reach the very same old places. There are people with entrepreneurial attitudes in charge of business either as owners, shareholders or partners. They have strong initiative ability when it comes to a difficult situation or an opportunity. They study the facts and because they see the need to take action; they quickly assume an attitude to solve the problem or to grab the opportunity.

These people overcome emotions such as fear, doubt, complexes, and negative thoughts – the enemies of success that postpone projects and delay decisions. However, God is faithful and keeps His promises to make the impossible become possible.

May God bless you all abundantly,
