Counselling

One of the goals of the UCKG is to show those who are in need of help that their voice will be heard, their feelings and questions will be treated with care and they will be given practical answers to help them bring sense to their lives.

Our counsellors around the country are more than just listening ears, although listening is of utmost importance. A requirement for each counsellor is to have personally experienced the power of God, and be able to lead whoever they help to find that power to overcome whatever problem they are facing.

Reaching out to total strangers for help can be a scary thing, and trust cannot be built overnight. We understand these fears completely. We will do our best to put you at ease, allowing you the time you need to adjust, to ask questions, to pour out your worries, to cry and even to disagree - you are free to be yourself.

Thousands of lives around the UK are now changed because of their experience of being listened to and understood, and the words of faith they were encouraged to put into practice.
