UCKG 24hr helpline
If you need help due to a serious problem you may be going through, if you feel that you have nowhere to turn to and desperately need someone to lend a listening ear, if you don’t just want to be listened to but also be given practical guidance on how you can tackle your particular situation, then we can help you. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done, your religion or race, your call will be answered by someone who genuinely cares about you and has your best interests at heart. See us like a reliable friend who will try his/her utmost to help you. Mrs, Julie Tedeschi, who heads the Helpline Team says, “It’s such a pleasure for us to be of help. All of the Helpline team receive strict training and come from backgrounds full of problems and heartache, but were able to overcome our problems after receiving help at the UCKG. Therefore, when someone calls, we really feel that person’s pain, because of what we’ve been through and knowing how the person feels, we make sure that they come off the call feeling relieved and helped. “We don’t pressure anyone. If all they require is someone to listen, we will do that. If they want more in depth help, then we will direct them to their local UCKG for a pastor to take care of them there. “We also arrange home visits for the housebound and hospital visits for anyone in great need of kindly human contact. We can also signpost people to specific support agencies or charities that should be of most help, and as appropriate provide prayerful or spiritual support.” So, whether it is simply information you want or desperately need someone to talk to, we’re here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on 020 7686 6000.
