From employee to business owner

I had a job travelling all over the world. While it may sound glamorous and exciting, it wasn’t paying enough for me to support my family. I was unhappy with this situation so I decided to take part in a Campaign of Israel, quitting my job and asking God for a better paying one.

I had to go back to part-time jobs as a nurse, which was very difficult for me. I had to pay bills, I had to make ends meet, I had a family to look after.

Months passed with no success in finding a better job but I wasn’t discouraged. I believed God would honour me. I took action and decided to keep looking for jobs but the response I got wasn’t what I’d hoped for. I participated in a lot of Chains of Prayer on Mondays. I applied to many places and most of the answers I received were, ‘No’.

I took part in another Campaign 6 months later as I realised that I went wrong during the last Campaign. My vision was too small so I asked for a business. I remember at this time my mother-in-law was ill and I had to send money back home to look after her at the hospital, but I decided to sacrifice that money instead.

The same day I presented my sacrifice was the same day I received amazing news from the hospital where my mother-in-law was staying. She had not been eating for a week but was found sitting up in bed talking. From that day on her health started to become much better.
