I attended a franchise exhibition where I found a courier business (Fast Way Couriers) that interested me. But though I now knew what I wanted, I was faced with a new challenge. The only obstacle for me was to buy the territory. The fees would be an amount in excess of £18,000 which I didn’t have. Eventually the owner gave me an agreement, we signed the deeds and I didn’t have to pay the franchise fees up front.

I started as a business development manager - a position which pays more than double the wages I used to get in the job I left. And at the same time I started my courier business. I remember that I was nowhere near the calibre of the people that the company wanted for this job. But after they awarded me the position they mentioned that the passion I had was one of the things they looked at and liked about me.

I can truly say there is no way I would have this position out of my own ability. God has honoured me because of my sacrifice. Now compared to a year ago I earn almost 4 times more than I used to.

Next year around this time, I have my plans to actually be making 8 times more. I’m on the path to great success and I know that God has given me the tools to become rich. When I say that I would challenge God, in essence I challenge myself because God never changes. If I say that I believe in God and do something about it and I stretch my faith beyond my limits, beyond what is normal, and depend on God totally, He will always honour me and He has shown me this. He would never let me down.
