Train: Peterborough is situated on the East Coast Main Line and is served by 4 train operating companies providing links to many parts of England and Scotland

Great North Eastern Railway: GNER provides high-speed inter-city train services along the East Coast Main Line between London, Peterborough, Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland.

This provides approximately a 20 minute service to and from London during the off-peak with an average journey time of 50 minutes.

WAGN: WAGN provides a slower and cheaper service between Peterborough to London.
This provides a semi-fast journey per hour stopping at Huntingdon, St. Neots, Sandy, Biggleswade, Hitchin, Stevenage, and Finsbury Park to London with an average journey time of 73 minutes.

There is also a stopping journey per hour stopping additionally at Knebworth, Welwyn North, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and Potters Bar with an average journey time of 87 minutes.
CENTRAL TRAINS:Central Trains provide cross country services which serve Peterborough.

ANGLIA TRAINS: One is the new train company operating Anglia Trains and provides a link between Peterborough - March - Ely - Bury St Edmunds - Stowmarket and Ipswich.
     
Road:

Peterborough is easily accessible from all parts of the UK and overseas. It has fast road connections via the A1(M) for north-south journeys and the A14 and A47 east-west routes. Coach parking is available in Acland Street, right in the City Centre and close to Queensgate Shopping Centre - easy access and parking cost of £3 ALL DAY.

Peterborough is just 80 miles (128 km) from London and 40 miles (64 km) from Cambridge.
